Not only that but cmi.exit value has an effect on the sequencing under 2004-which navigation request is used and if it's used at all. It also has an impact on what the lms sets the cmi.entry to for the sco to read on re-entry(if it's a re-entry.) I ran into a similar issue where my sco was setting the lesson_status at the end of the first screen-if a user bailed on it before it was set, under, 1.2 the LMS sets the lesson_status to completed. Which is different from 2004 where progress_measure and completion_threshold come into play.

[...] Phillip has a nice tutorial for implementing a quick and basic solution for scorm communication to a flash asset. There are also some nice assets up on his site if you want to delve deeper. [From pipwerks.com » Blog Archive » How to add basic SCORM code to a Flash movie] [...]

@Steve

Thanks. Regarding manifests, they're my least favorite part of SCORM by a very large margin. I've yet to find a clear, easy-to-follow set of guidelines for creating and/or editing a manifest, and the manifests themselves can be so verbose they hurt my eyes! :)

Most people I've talked to simply suggest using one of the many manifest-generating programs out there, such as reload or exe. Personally, I haven't really found those programs any easier than manually editing a copy of an existing manifest.

If you find any good manifest resources, please share!

Another great article. Clearly follows on from the previous one and shows how to use the Wrapper without the Flash layer above the JavaScript.

Regarding manifests, do you know of any good resources for learning about the elements/structure of these? I guess the ADL documentation is the best place, but I was wondering if there is anything a little less verbose?
